Halloween!

Today is halloween, which is celebrated a lot more here than in Sweden! Not much happened at school though except from a few people who dressed up.
Later I went with some friends trick or treating:D that was fun! So different here, almost everybody sat in front of their houses with a big bowl of candies. Houses were all decorated, some more all out than other. Some houses had huge cobweb, fogmaskins, fake gravestones and other stuff!
The streets were full of families and kids trick or treating all dressed up and everybody was happy and the kids were soo cute in their costumes :O I had my supermario costume again:)
Anyway I'm gonna have a good night sleep now, I'm tired and have an english test tomorrow (unfortunatly didn't study tonight because of halloween...) Here is a picture of my candies:D

Friday night I hung out with Kendra, a friend from school. We went to In n Out whick is a burger place that was very good:) It was the first time I ate there haha which she couln't understand^^
Then we went to the movies and saw Pitch Perfect, I've already seen it once but doesn't matter as it is an awesome movie:D
Saturday I had play practise again and in the eavening I went to a halloween party with the drama club. My costume was Super Mario:D
sunday I woke up at 12.45 PM, then I just was home and did everything that had to be done... I did my homework, laungery, baked and went to Walmart with my hostmom. Also Skyped with my parents and cousin+aunt that are visiting in Singapore.
Monday and Tuesday I've been to school as usual and have had playpeactise in the afternoon:)

100 days in AZ!

I've now survived a 100 days in America! Haha no, just kidding it has been fun so far!
This week I've started school at 11AM tuesday, wednesday, thursday bacause of AIMs tests that some students are taking, but not me:)
This morning I walked to school with Rhianna, It starts to be really cold in the morning!
Had two substitutes in two classes today so didn't do much^^
then play practise, here is a picture of me and Rhianna and then a picture of me in my costume:)
For dinner I went with my hostmom to eat pizza and then ice cream to celebrate my 100 days in Arizona:) to bad my hostdad came home late from work so I couldn't come:(
I've also started running a couple of times a week to keep myself in good shape:D

Pumkin, sunday and underwear!

Today has been a good Sunday, I've done a lot:)
I've talked to my friend Sofia in Kentucky, we try to arrange a trip to Hawaii together! :D I hope it will all work out.
Then I've carved a halloween pumkin, like it? I'm proud of my pumkin! Haha:)
I also went to the mall with my hostmom Karen, we met Tanya her two daughters (Tasha and Mette) and Gabi.
I bought some underwear at Victoria Secret and some Make-up.
We had some Greek food on our way home that was very good and then we stopped to buy a costume for me as it is Halloween next week! My costume is awesome but it's a surprise so I can't tell u what it is, sorry but I promise I'll post a picture:D
Tonight I went for a run with my new friend: My cute little dog :)) Nice to see I'm in better shape than I thought I was!

Home, sweet home!

Wednesday I moved in with my new family after have been spending 10 great days with Tanya, Mette and the rest of their family:)
Everything feels really good and I'm sure this is a perfect home!
I now live 10min walk from school which is nice, and here is a picture of my new room.
I live with hostdad, hostmom and their cutest little dog:) they have two kids that are grown up, one is in Michigan and the other one in California.
Thursday after school I went grocery shopping with my hostmom and we also bought some new towels for me. Yesterday (Friday) I went to the fotballgame, last homegame for this season! We won 27-20 :)
Today drama rehersal til three and now dinner! maybe I'll go for a run later tonight.
My plan tomorrow is to go to the gym and then we'll see what I end up doing the rest of the day:)

Drive in Ice-cream

Been to school today, loong day! Started as usual at 7.15 and had drama practise after school that is til 5 PM. Had an other firedrill today, just practise but still... They have one every month here and today was during 6th hour = way too hot to stand outside in jeans and t-shirt -.-
This eavning we had dinner at Sam's Club (a grocery store that also sells pizza slices for $1.49) then me Mette and Tanya went to play tennis for 45 min. First time I played, It was awesome!:) I did pretty good for being my very first time...;)
After tennis we had to refill our bodies with calories so we went to a drive in ice-cream place, haha very american you don't even have to get out of your car to get ice-cream^^

Arches, Utah, pitch perfect!

Been in Utah (state next to Arizona) for a couple of days with YFU volunteer Tanya, Mette, Gabi, Anna and me :) This is our last night and tomorrow it's time to go back to the heat, which I've been missing! Has been really cold - 55 to 75 F (8-25C).
We saw Canyonland National Park and Arches National Park. And then we went to Dead Horse Point, all three places were amazing!!! I'm in a hotell right now and can't post any pictures but I will! Exept from the hiking in the parks we ate a lot of good food, took lots of pictures and had a lot of fun!
We went to see two moovies aswell we saw Taken 2 (worth seeing it!) and Pitch Perfect - funniest moovie ever!! I laughed the entired moovie ;D

Roadtrip to UTAH!

In five minutes we leave for a trip to Utah with the YFU lady and three other exchangestudents, I'll write when I'm back!

Laser tag!

Yesterday I went with Mette, Gabi and a few more people laser tag:) (laserdome). So much fun!!!
We also had some food, I hade some nachos ;) love all the mexican food they have here.
After dinner me and Mette watched One Tree Hill and had Ben&Jerry. I'm gonna start going to the gym soon I promise...
Today I've been going visiting a possible future host family, they seemed very nice and their house was real pretty! We'll see how it ends.
After baked brownies and watched a moovie it's time to sleep now:)

Fallbreak!

Something I've learned this week: take one day at the time and don't worry about what's next, cause you never know how tomorrow will look like...

First quarter in school is over, now fallbreak for a week! Started fallbreak with going to Dysart Edge High School's homecomming dance! I went with Gabi and Mette to their homecomming (in an other school) as I missed our dance a couple of weeks ago. I had a lot of fun!! I'll post some pictures soon! I stayed at Gavi's place for the night and went to theatre reheral saturday.

Saturday I also moved out from John and Lisa's house. I stay with a YFU volunteer for now and hopefully soon I'll move in with a new hostfamily. Don't freak out, I'm fine! Sometime relationships don't work out, and in this case both John, Lisa, YFU and me agreed that moving me out was the best solution. I feel like it was a good decision :)
